Freshman Application You are considered a Freshman applicant if you are a graduating high school senior or you are a high school graduate and have not attended a post-secondary institution.
Freshman Application Requirements
Transfer Application You are considered a Transfer applicant if you have graduated from high school and have taken or are in the process of taking any college-level coursework.
Transfer Application Requirements
International Application You are considered an International applicant if you are neither a U.S. citizen nor resident alien of this country.
Re-Admission / Re-Enrolling Application Select this option if you have previously been a degree-seeking student at JMU. This includes students who have graduated, as well as those who left before completing their degree. Students must apply for readmission through the Office of Academic Student Services.
Graduate and Non-degree Application Students seeking admission to one of JMU's graduate programs should apply through The Graduate School.
Non Degree Students Through Outreach & Engagement, JMU permits students who are not seeking a degree to enroll and register for up to 11 hours of course credit during each session as non-degree students.
